Consciously creating from our intentions and desires will dramatically alter the reality in which we live, enabling us to take yet another step towards attracting the life of our dreams.

But how do we do this?

Many of you have heard about taking 'Inspired Action'. But what does that really mean? What makes an action inspired?

We all have the ability to access both our Thinking Mind and our Creative Mind. Each can give us actions to take to forward what we are creating.

Our Thinking Mind usually gives us actions that we know to take from our own experience. For example, if you want to find a new place to live, your thinking mind will tell you to find a Realtor, search the classifieds, drive through neighborhoods you'd like to live and and look for 'FOR RENT' signs, ask friends if they know of any place, etc.  These are all thinking actions that you could take to achieve a result.  But not everything you do may yield a result. You may bump into a lot of dead ends and use up a lot of time before finally finding the action that will create what you desire.

So, the alternative would be to access your Creative Mind and see what intuitive nudges it may give you. But before you access your Creative Mind you want to make sure that you are clear what it is that you are wanting to create. Once you are sure of your intention, the next step would be to clear your mind of any noise and chatter. Meditation is great for that. Then, once your mind is clear, you want to open up to and listen for inspired actions to take.

How do you recognize inspired action?

Usually ideas for inspired actions come to us 'out of the blue'. They leave us feeling curious and maybe even a little excited. Thinking actions may feel like a burden or a should on a 'to do' list.  Also, when our Creative Mind gives us an inspired action to take, the action may not make sense to our logical mind.

For example, when I was looking for a place to live, the inspired action that came to me from my Creative Mind, was to get in my car and go for a drive. I decided to play along and within 15 minutes I was being shown a great apartment in a wonderful part of town. I signed a contract the next day and went on to live there for a good number of years.  My Creative Mind had steered me to the perfect new place to live.

On another occasion my intention was to do research on paratroopers from WWII for a screenplay that I planned to write. I had been doing research on the internet and in books, but my Creative Mind told me to go to a party that night. I didn't see how that would forward my research, but I went anyway.

Within just a few minute of getting there I was amazed to find myself talking to an elderly man who had been a paratrooper in WW II! Not only did I get first hand accounts from him, but the friend who I went to the party with told me stories that her father had told her about his paratrooper experiences. If I hadn't listened to my Creative Mind I would have missed out!
